National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ) holds an annual symposium to discuss its future plans with the community, based on the discussions within the Science Advisory Committee. In 2021('Thinking about Future Plans Across Wavelengths') we had discussions of future sciences. In 2022('How to decide and promote future plans') the discussions were focused on the framework to determine and advance future plans. In 2023('Science Roadmap of NAOJ') a trial process to develop the Science Roadmap (SRM) was conducted. Building on these discussions, in 2024('Science Roadmap of NAOJ') we started a formal process to develop the SRM which will become a foundation of the Implementation Plan for the 5th Medium-Term Goals and Plan (covering fiscal years 2028-2033), and proposals for the SRM were presented and discussed at that time. In FY2025, we will hold a symposium to present the draft SRM prepared by the Science Roadmap Committee and to gather feedback from the community. This symposium will be an important opportunity to discuss the future of NAOJ, focusing on scientific perspectives. We would like to hear opinions from the broad astronomy community. In particular, we encourage active participation from young researchers who will lead the future. We look forward to your participation.
