Mars and Saturn shine close together in the southern sky at dawn. Nearby, the 1st magnitude star Antares can be found in the constellation Scorpius.

The Moon, which reaches new phase on April 1, can be seen near Mars on the 29th and near Saturn on the 30th.

Please enjoy the sight of these two planets lined up near Antares and the changing shape of the Moon waning day-by-day as it passes nearby.
