The Moon Passing Close to Jupiter
A Chance to Observer Jupiter

Jupiter, which passes opposition on March 8, presents us with an opportunity to observe it. Jupiter is in the constellation Leo. It rises in the eastern sky a little while after sunset, so it can be observed almost all night long.
From the 23rd to the 24th, the bright, almost-full Moon appears to approach Jupiter. Although it becomes difficult to see the stars making up the constellations when there is bright moonlight, Jupiter shining at -2.4 magnitude should be easy to spot even with the moonlight.
