Leaves Start Changing Colors in Mitaka Campus
Photo・

Recently, the cold wind chills us to the bone, and NAOJ Mitaka Campus is wearing its fall colors. This photo was taken from an airplane in mid-November. We can enjoy all four seasons in our campus: the cherry blossoms in spring, new green leaves in early summer, autumn colors in fall, and the cool, crisp air in winter. But, the buildings in our campus were not always like this. Comparing this with the campus photo in 2015, you can find the newly-built Instrument Development Building No.3 (back right of the sports field) where there had been a vacant lot. Our campus is changing daily to facilitate cutting edge astronomical research.
