Caution on spoofed emails
October 13, 2022
Recently, there have been confirmed information security incidents involving “spoofed emails” which falsely appear to have been sent by NAOJ or NINS employees. If you receive a suspicious mail with vague or inaccurate content, there is a risk of virus infection or unauthorized access to your computer. Do not open attached files, click on URL links in the message, or reply to the message until after you have carefully inspected the sender’s address and other information. When in doubt, please delete the suspicious email.
