NAOJ staff member tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19)

It was confirmed during January 4 to 7, that one of our staff members at an overseas branch and two related persons had been infected by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

People who had close contact with the infected person at the branch have been tested for infection, and the results came back negative.

In order to protect the infected person’s privacy, NAOJ will not disclose the person’s name or details. We appreciate your understanding.
