ALMA Operations Support Facility

Movie・

This movie shows what it is like to walk around inside the Technical Building at the ALMA Operations Support Facility (OSF) constructed at an altitude of 2,900 meters. You can see a lot of rooms, such as a control room for remote operation of the ALMA array located at an altitude of 5,000 meters, front end laboratories, a computer room where observation data is stored, and office areas for staff members. These rooms are compactly bunched together. Outside of this building, there are lodgings and a cafeteria. These facilities support staff members who came from all over the world to solve the mysteries of the Universe.
