NAOJ Project Implementation Plan
NAOJ is currently developing its Implementation Plan for the 5th medium-term objective period (FY2028-2033), based on the NAOJ Science Roadmap released in June 2026. This page provides updates on the ongoing development process and related activities.Second Round of Town Meetings Completed 
Two online Town Meetings were held via Zoom in October to provide updates on the development process and current status of the NAOJ Implementation Plan.
An overview of the contents of the Implementation Plan was also presented.

The next Town Meeting is scheduled for mid-January 2027. Before then, the draft NAOJ Implementation Plan will be discussed at the NAOJ Future Planning Symposium 2026, to be held on December 15-16, 2026. We encourage everyone to participate.
