NAOJ's Future Planning Process

NAOJ is currently in the process of formulating its future plan.
In the previous years, it was broadly agreed that NAOJ’s future plan should be developed in the following three steps:

(a) Science Roadmap that should be promoted in the future by Japanese astronomy as a whole (= Science Roadmap of Japanese Astronomy),
(b) Science Roadmap that should be promoted in the future by NAOJ (= NAOJ Science Roadmap), and
(c) Implementation Plan for projects to implement Science Roadmap for NAOJ (= NAOJ Project Implementation Plan).

From this fiscal year, we will start the process of (b) to formulate NAOJ Science Roadmap.
