M31 taken by HSC
A first light image of M31 taken by Hyper Suprime-Cam(HSC) was released in july 2013 and its beauty captivated people across the globe. HSC’s wide field of view can photograph the full extent of M31 and at the same time resolve individual stars in the galaxy.
HSC is mapping the deep Universe to estimate the amount of dark energy and its evolution.
