Strange Behavior in the Polar Magnetic Fields of the Sun
A Hinode research team discovered strange behavior in the polarity of the polar magnetic fields.
The Hinode satellite observed the solar polar region intently from 2008 to 2012.
Hinode discovered that the north polar magnetic field was dwindling to almost zero, while the south pole was steadily maintaining positive polarity.
