The star party is necessary to make reservations in advance, and the maximum is 300 people. You have to make a reservation for the party. ->"Star Party Calendar
Please use public transportation as possible when you come to the campus. ->Access to Mitaka
For the visitors with disabilities, please contact in advance. We can take special measures.
Please come with the clothes and shoes which are easy to move.
In summer, be careful of mosquitoes, and in winter and early spring, take proper precautions against the cold.
Preschool children and primary school children are required to come with parents. The campus is very dark. So, be careful lest your children might get lost or wounded.
Objects of observation might be changed with depending on the weather.
There is no smoking space in observation area.

Schedule of the Day

The time for admission as follows. Please not be late.
- April to September 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. (Lobby Open 7:10 p.m.)
- October to March 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (Lobby Open 6:10 p.m.)
Please show the reply email (with confirmation number) at the admission desk.
After the check of the confirmation number, numbered ticket and handout is handed. Your turn is written in the ticket. Please wait with watching DVD and looking posters until your turn comes.

At first, you hear a lecture about the object. The lecture is approximately 10-15 minutes. (Sorry! The lecture is given in Japanese.)
After the lecture, guides lead participants to the 50 cm telescope and then object. Also you can observe other objects with small telescopes if you want.
After observing, you can leave whenever you like.
